We build and maintain the data infrastructure that allows healthcare organizations across Iowa to securely share patient information, coordinate care, and meet public health reporting obligations. CyncHealth has been the HIE operator in Iowa and has discontinued HIE services. Converge Health Iowa was selected through a competitive RFP process and has formally begun operations as the successor HIE. Our immediate focus is stabilizing services, restoring secure data access, and ensuring continuity of care remains the top priority. No. We are an Iowa-based nonprofit organization designated by the State of Iowa under Iowa Code Chapter 135D to administer and operate the statewide HIE. We operate under contract with Iowa HHS and are accountable to the state and to our participants through a governed structure focused on responsible stewardship of health data.
